5 itemsAbout the Game
PURR DIEM is a first-person, atmospheric and low poly narrative horror game about debt, dehumanization, and what you're willing to feed the machine to save someone you love in a dystopian, rainy and tired cyberpunk world!
You've taken a night-shift job, alone, at Baruren Organic Solutions, a processing facility with all the typical corpo vibes and a terrifying quota... Cats go in. "Product" comes out. We're all just following orders... and yours are to process, fill, Q.C., and send!
THE CLOCK IS REAL
Your girlfriend needs an operation, and this job pays fast enough to cover it - eventually.. if you clear every shift. Every shift you'll text her and she will text you back. She's warm, going through her own journey, worried, and watching you change through the phone, one reply at a time. Will you save her in time?
EVERY UPGRADE COSTS YOU TWICE
Cybernetic implants make the work easier — and they're bought with the exact same credits that are supposed to pay for her surgery. Every enhancement is money not going home, and a piece of your humanity gone with it. Stay soft and struggle, or get carved into something efficient. You can't fully do both.
THE FACILITY REMEMBERS
You're not the first person to work this shift. Explore lockers left behind by employees who came before you, talk to the on-site AI who knows more than she lets on; as well as learning about the secrets of this world, Baruren, and the facility you're working in. Not everything you see in the dark is really there. Some of it is worse.
MULTIPLE ENDINGS, ONE DEBT
Pay it off and walk out changed. Burn it ALL down, or just..give in?.. or stop being entirely sure you're still the one making the choices. How much of yourself is still yours by the time the debt clears?
