About the Game

PROJECT SPOOKY

A developer disappeared while creating this game. The only thing left behind was an unfinished build.

Álvaro Llorente was working on Project Spooky, a horror game built around an old guesthouse and the stories of those who passed through it.

He never finished it.

Some time later, his files reached TEAM 237, a small independent studio dedicated to investigating, documenting and recovering unfinished, abandoned or unreleased videogames.

This is what we managed to reconstruct.

Project Spooky is a first-person psychological horror game where each chapter explores a different way of building fear.

Explore spaces that do not always remain the same. Reconstruct events through objects, sounds and documents. Learn the rules that govern each story.

But be careful.

Understanding how something works does not mean you are safe from it.

FEAR DOESN'T APPEAR. IT IS CONSTRUCTED.

Each chapter presents an independent situation and a different mechanic.

A mirror may show you something that does not exist outside its reflection.

Sound may guide you towards something you have never seen.

Light may protect you... until you understand what it is really keeping away.

And the same house may not always be the same house.

You do not need to understand everything in order to move forward.

You probably should not try.
