Project: rEvolution is a fast-paced action-roguelike tower defense game built around dynamic turret control, modular upgrades, and evolving enemies. Each run gives you new tools, new modifiers, and new tactical problems to solve as you place, wield, and swap to evolve your turret companions.

Core Features:

  • Placeable & Wieldable Turret Companions: Deploy turrets like traditional tower defenses, or pick them up and wield them directly. Switch between lane control and mobile firepower on the fly, adapting your strategy to ever-changing waves of enemies.

  • Modular Upgrade System: Customize each turret through a powerful, run-defining draft system. Upgrades don’t just improve stats, they change how your turrets function, adding new firing patterns, unique effects, stat buffs, and multi-module synergies.

  • Adaptive Enemies: Enemy waves evolve in direct response to your draft choices. As you upgrade and specialize your turrets, enemies draw from their own upgrade pool - creating a symbiotic escalation that reshapes every run.

    Enemy evolutions can include:

    • Stat Buffs – Increased health, speed, resistances, or damage to counter dominant builds

    • Unique Abilities – New behaviors that alter movement, targeting, or interaction with towers

    • Mutators – Run-wide modifiers that compound over time, forcing constant adaptation as difficulty rises

  • Roguelike Replayability:

    • Enemy & Boss Modifiers

    • Events & NPCs

  • Companions & Events: Throughout each run, companions and scheduled special events appear at key moments in the weekly cycle, introducing powerful, and often unpredictable, opportunities. These encounters can fundamentally reshape your build through turret experimentation, transformational effects, evolutionary upgrades, high-risk bonuses, or meaningful strategic tradeoffs.

    Some NPCs allow you to refine and push your turrets through stat tuning and long-term evolution paths. Others offer volatile, high-impact modifications that promise immediate power at the cost of lasting consequences—forcing you to decide how far you’re willing to evolve.
