About the Game

OVERVIEW

PROJECT CORRUPTION is a tense and atmospheric survival-horror game set in the industrial depths of the failing I.B.I.S. space station where you play as Tanner looking for your wife who is a lead scientist aboard the station.

MULITPLAYER

Years after the outbreak, the I.B.I.S. station remains abandoned—officially written off, but far from forgotten. Start or join a team of up to 4 players to scavenge abandon tech, data, and untouched equipment still onboard while fighting off the thriving corruption life forms.

STORY TELLING

  • Unravel a deep narrative: Discover the dark history of I.B.I.S. and the twisted experiments that led to the station's downfall.

ATMOSPHERIC SCI-FI HORROR

  • Claustrophobic environments: Navigate the industrial halls of the I.B.I.S. space station, designed for function over aesthetics.

  • Hostile lifeforms: Encounter monstrous adaptations born from alien life forms and failed experimentations.

EXPLORATION AND SURVIVAL

  • Diverse station areas: Explore the stations living quarters, labs, comms, water treatment facilities, testing facilities, medical bay and more, each with unique challenges.

  • Navigate the station: As the halls of the I.B.I.S. space station become more and more hazardous you must make use of the stations vent system.

Resource management: Scavenge supplies and equipment to survive the station's many dangers.

HOSTILE AI

  • Guard encounters: Avoid or attempt to fight the patrol guards who hunt down anything that moves.

  • Hostile creatures: Face off against adaptive alien entities with behaviors that keep you on edge.

  • Stealth and strategy: Choose when to hide, fight or run as enemies patrol and react to your presence. 

  • AI conflict: Manipulate the station's inhabitants by pitting guards and creatures against each other-use the chaos as a distraction or weaken both sides to improve your odds of survival.

Project Corruption is a solo game dev project with a focus on atmosphere, story and gameplay balance. The project is built on the belief that great games stem from a focus on creativity and quality rather then financial prospect. When you focus on crafting something meaningful, the success will follow.
