About the Game

The logo of Project Colored Mountains

Project Colored Mountains is a cozy and colorful 3D platformer starring a bouncy little robot on a lighthearted journey through surreal and playful spaces.

Stretch yourself while launching yourself across buildings and bouncing off glowing blocks in a relaxing world that invites exploration over combat. It’s just you and a world full of strange, deserted places to discover.

At the heart of Project Colored Mountains is its movement system. You’ll unlock new abilities as you go, allowing your robot to:

  • Bounce in midair

  • Roll at high speeds

  • Chain jumps and boosts to move with precision

Each move is designed to feel satisfying on its own and even better when combined. Whether you're hopping across a sunny field or bouncing through a flooded school hallway, the controls are smooth and intuitive, designed to reward creative play.

The environments in Project Colored Mountains are quiet, surreal, and slightly magical. Every area is filled with hidden nooks, secret entrances, optional challenges, and playful environmental details. Some locations include:

  • A quiet, peaceful field, to explore at your own pace

  • A silent school, full of secrets

  • A children’s museum, with oversized exhibits and impossible rooms

  • And more!

  • Switching your gravity

  • Teleporting you across huge distances as well as tiny ones

  • Making your jumps huge!

  • Spawning something in

    And more

While the game keeps things light and relaxing, there’s still a sense of progression and reward. You’ll:

  • Unlock new areas by completing levels

  • Collect light shards

  • Discover gems that temporarily enhance your movement

  • Revisit earlier locations with new abilities to find what you missed

Each level is self-contained, but they’re all part of a larger connected world - one that slowly reveals a mysterious event that changed everything.
