About the Game

Instruct a robot. Resolve hostage situations. No programming experience required!

Welcome to the unit, rookie.

Hostage crises plague the city, and you're assigned to combat them using a new tool: a programmable tactical robot.
Analyze each situation, create a plan, and execute it to save the hostages!

Choose your loadout

Equip your robot with the tools you want or need.
Guns, lasers, explosives, or maybe you will mostly use the environment. You decide!

Solve puzzles your way

There are no fixed solutions.
Every situation can be resolved in multiple ways using logic, creativity, or pure chaos.
Do you want to be quick and efficient, or do you prefer something a bit silly?

Optimize

Each situation has extra optional optimization challenges:

  • Fast solutions: well-liked by the hostages

  • Minimal instructions: great for code reviewers

  • Cheap resolutions: the budget department's favorite

A wide variety of puzzles

Solve over 40 unique hostage situations, and more than 20 harder variations for those who want a bigger challenge.

Instruct with ease

Use dropdowns to add instructions; no prior knowledge is required.
