About the Game

Hey! Welcome to Press a Button Simulator: A new, amazing, and some would say award winning game about pressing a button! Spend however long you want in that room, pressing that button. Don’t look for anything else because there is nothing but the button! No secrets, no other gameplay, and that means, no tryhards!

"What is the game even about?"

Why Buttons of course! The entire game is revolved around pressing a singular button, just as games should be. No stressful gameplay, no endings, no secrets, no puzzles, and definitely no other, cool, atmospheric environments for you to explore! Why would we make a game about a button?

Uhh... Why do you care?

However a button isn't the only thing in the game silly! Press a button Simulator includes (at no extra cost to you):

  • A Radio with Rad Tunez!

  • A Closet!

  • A Window!¹

  • An ultra accurate click counter!

  • Walls!

  • A Ceiling!

  • And Fun!

The possibilities have an end! With all the walls you will be able to focus on the true meaning of this game: pressing The Button™! Is there a deep meaning? That's for you to figure out, it's art after all.

¹ Dev Note: Hey guys, when someone has a chance can you check out the window? I was testing a newer build of the game and I could just jump though it, I don't think it has collision. Also, I landed outside on some sort of collision. Just something I wanted to bring up because if we release with this bug, idk if that area is unstable and it might bring the player to an unwanted area, basically soft locking them since a lot of the code is unused. Just a note, thanks! :) (One more thing, we should get another document for these notes and stuff cuz we are also typing the store description here and I don't want someone to accidently copy and paste this message into the store lol)

Idea for game: (This is for OUR EYES ONLY!!! DO NOT SHARE)

  • Make your way through the different floors of a mysterious apartment building.

  • Solve puzzles and make your way through the strange halls. (Steal puzzle from Parallel?)

  • Hallways change and turn into endless loops? (Idk how we would implement that)

  • Hand drawn textures?

  • Actually finish this one!
