About the Game

Develop photos, upgrade your darkroom, and watch the curves grow in this incremental scratch-to-reveal game.

You are a darkroom photo developer specializing in capturing the beauty, growth, and expansion of beautiful plus-sized girls. Grab your microfiber cloth, mix your chemicals, and get ready to reveal stunning curves, one Polaroid at a time.

In Pounds & Polaroids, you’ll manage a growing darkroom business. Hand-scratch the emulsion off your film, merge identical prints to maximize their value, risk your earnings on the underground market, and upgrade your equipment to build a fully automated photo-developing empire.

📸 The Gameplay Loop

  • Buy & Develop: Open the shop, order a roll of film, and use your mouse to scrub away the black emulsion layer.

  • Reveal Rarity: Every scratch-off rolls a random rarity (from Common to the ultimate Bikini prints).

  • Merge & Level Up: Drag identical duplicates onto each other to combine them. This grants them permanent XP and level-up payout multipliers!

  • Upgrade & Automate: Reinvest your cash into bigger brushes, better chemical formulas, or unlock the Auto-Develop Tray to let the machine do the scratching for you.

⚠️ Risk & Reward: The Black Market

Not every print goes perfectly. Photos have a chance of being Ruined—turning a deep crimson, draining your cash, and driving up market taxes. When tragedy strikes, you have two choices:

  • Trash it: Throw the ruined Polaroid away for $0.

  • Sell it: Drag your ruined prints onto the Black Market panel to sell them for 20% value. But beware: every illegal sale increases your Heat! If the police raid your darkroom, you will lose 50% of your cash.

  • Emergency call: If you go completely bankrupt, you can always call your Mom to reset your debt and clear your Heat.

🛠️ Key Features

  • Tactile Scratch-Off Mechanic: Satisfying physics-based scrubbing to reveal high-quality art.

  • Deep Merge Progression: Combine duplicate prints to gain XP and permanently boost individual payout levels.

  • Auto-Scratch Tray: Unlock and fully upgrade motors, chemical strengths, and sponge sizes to automate your workflow.

  • Market Tax & Marketing Campaigns: Use your gained Inspiration Points to launch marketing campaigns that wipe away localized tax rates.

🚀 Future Roadmap (Full Release)

I'm actively developing Tiers 2, 3, and 4 for the full release. The full game will feature:

  • 18 additional girls with massive, tiered weight-gain progression.

  • Expanded automated developer tray queues and higher upgrade tier caps.

  • Higher stakes -redacted- games.

  • Multi-layered Prestige runs with persistent multiplier boosts.
