🍲 Your Culinary Empire Starts With One Pot
Potventure is a turn-based fantasy restaurant management strategy game. You're a fledgling restaurateur with nothing but a pot and ambition, arriving on a continent shared by ten very different peoples — Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Halflings, Goblins, Orcs, the Undead etc. Each with their own tastes and unique talents.
Send out explorers to clear the fog of war. Build farms, ranches, and fishing ports on fertile land. Turn raw ingredients into signature dishes that win over an entire town's palate. As your restaurant empire grows, so do six rival empires — some expand aggressively, some grow quietly and compound their power, some come to sabotage you in the night. One of them, a mysterious Oracle, might even warn you what crisis is coming next.
🍳 A Cooking System With Real Depth
22 ingredients + 12 seasonings, 7 cooking methods (fried, boiled, steamed, deep-fried, roasted, braised, mixed)
Three dish tiers (Lv1–Lv3) — higher tiers are harder to research, but far more rewarding
Over 50 hidden "ingredient synergy rules" to discover — what happens when beef meets red wine? Or seafood meets olive oil and vinegar?
Choose plating styles for every dish, and build a Google-Maps-style reputation for your restaurants over time
🧝 Ten Races, Ten Ways to Play
Elves' Forest Blessing steadily boosts vegetable yields
Dwarves' Underground Workshop lets you build and rebuild fearlessly, at -20% cost
Halflings' Second Lunch doubles population growth outright [] Goblins' Scrap Recycling means you rarely run out of ingredients
The Undead's Sleepless Kitchen makes corruption and unrest simply irrelevant
Every town is governed by a named, distinctly-personalitied — and possibly corrupt — lord. Choose your allies wisely.
⚔ Six Rivals, Six Empires With Their Own Ambitions
Ten distinct rival archetypes exist in the game, with three randomly selected each playthrough: the research-focused Hatted Gourmet, the aggressively expanding Street King, the slow-but-unstoppable Golden Tycoon, the harassment-focused Shadow Chef, and more. Learn each rival's rhythm before they carve up the world without you.
🌪 Crises Test You. Opportunities Reward You.
Famine, plague, recession, inflation — a crisis strikes roughly every 50 turns. But so do festivals, golden ages, and bountiful harvests, giving you breathing room to rebuild and expand. The four seasons reshape your strategy too: vegetables thrive in spring, seafood rules the summer, autumn brings a windfall harvest, and winter demands careful rationing.
🏬 Three Business Models, Three Philosophies of Growth
Independent Restaurants: Every town researches its own menu — maximum freedom
Franchise Mode: Centralized R&D, boosted footfall and turnover
Chain Mode: Scale up fast and cheap — but at a cost
🎯 14 Endgame Paths to Victory, No Two Playthroughs Alike
Amass a legendary fortune, build a chain empire, become a master of every cuisine, win duel after duel, conquer every rival, or simply survive the harshest difficulty to the end — any single endgame goal wins the game. Dozens of additional achievements track your journey along the way. Combine that with 4 difficulty levels, randomized rivals, races, and lords, and every new game is a genuinely different challenge.
📼 Turn-by-Turn Replay
After each game ends, revisit the entire campaign turn by turn — territory shifts, key events, every swing of fortune — all preserved so you can study your run and come back stronger.
Every dish you serve leaves a mark on this world. Build your culinary dynasty — and let every town smell of your kitchen.
