About the Game

Ponchorado is a satirical Wild West survival-action game with roguelite elements, set in the 1930s cartoon style — taking place in the ruins of a never-finished western movie.
Play as Poncho, a forgotten stuntman fighting his way through chaos, clichés, and caricatures in a desperate attempt to finally be seen — and maybe even win the BOSSCAR, the highest honor of the fictional Academy of Cinematic Constructs.

But the prize is more than just a symbol of fame — it represents visibility, recognition, and the right to tell your own story.

As Poncho, a never-credited side character, you’ll battle your way through a fragmented film world full of bizarre gatekeepers, lost scenes, and unleashed characters — all fighting for their place in a movie that was never finished.

Your goal:
Defeat all ten “Gatekeeper Bosses” to nominate yourself for the BOSSCAR — and maybe, at last, rise from forgotten extra to true leading role.
