Poltergeist @ Button Mash

This cooking sim is intended to mimic the experience in a real life high pressure restaurant kitchen - mental health challenges, adrenaline, ego, wild personalities, and insanely complicated recipes from the actual restaurant are all included. BYOB though.

About the Game

This is a cooking sim for people who have struggled with mental health issues and/or worked in a kitchen (ha ha, redundant).

Gameplay

The gameplay is your basic singleplayer cooking game. Orders come in from annoying, unseen customers, and it's your job to make them - perfectly, otherwise the annoying, unseen chef will yell at you - in a timely manner.

Features

As you progress through the seven stations of the kitchen (Bar, Dodger Night, Oven, Fryer, Saute, Salads, Code Red) you will unlock new characters with unique abilities, get paid for each dish you make correctly, and shop for things you don’t need. Do drugs (or, preferably, don’t) to manage your mental health and affect gameplay elements. If you make it far enough, you'll get to unlock the recipes from the actual restaurant.

Life Lessons

Get stressed, make money, buy stuff, do drugs. Learn something hopefully. Repeat.

The only enemy is your ego - conquer it or die trying.
