A hundred years in the future, the dregs of the human race struggle to survive in a contradictory world of VIOLENCE, MAGIC, and LIVING CARTOONS.

Guide the sheltered psychic Beau Chartreuse in a turn-based RPG journey through the ruins of California, meeting strange assets and stranger enemies. A world where brutality reigns supreme and kindness is never easy… A world that frays at the edges, allowing something wonderful in!

All of this is a lot for just you and Beau, so it’s good that you’ve got some strong allies on your side!

Oh, I’m sorry. It’s just a fox and an old man. They’re both bitter and full of regrets, but who isn’t? I’m sure that Valentine and Dr. Woland will have their uses.

Or they may stab you in the back. You can never be sure of people, these days. Best not to get too attached.

Men and women, clowns and dreams and cartoons and nightmares! This world is full of things that will want to take your money, your life, or something worse.
With every enemy a unique encounter, it’s up to you to decide exactly how much you’re willing to bite off!
Will you blaze through the world, hunting for every enemy while putting your party’s health at risk? Or will you cautiously hoard your money and food for those foes you can’t avoid?
