Planet A is a ‘purposeful Metaverse’ which is focused on creating deeper knowledge, enjoyment and experience of the landmark real-world places Lendlease Podium is entrusted to create, and curate.
Inside Planet A, anyone can virtually play, orientate and get-to-know quasi-physical places - and each other when multiplayer mode is initiated [coming mid-2022], before or after the real-world version has been constructed.
Planet A is a mirror-world, a living city that reflects the realities and impacts of climate change that we face worldwide - most especially in our urban environments. Carbon Calculator data is your window into this. Inside this ‘Metaverse’, we educate through gamification day one, and will collaborate as the platform evolves, as players learn-about the most sustainable solutions to the greatest challenges humankind faces, today.
We invite you to bring your energy, drive and the passion to embrace sustainability and make a difference.
To begin, fly-into our first Planet A project: The Milano Innovation District (MIND) where you will meet your Planet A Chaperone.
Formerly the site of the 2015 World Expo, your task is to play games that teach sustainability concepts such as waste management and IoT, battle the scoreboard and acquire all the skills and knowledge that are needed to plan and manifest a net-zero urban-regeneration project, like a ‘Lendlease Podium Pro’.
And your rewards won’t just be virtual. Online Planet-A Scoreboard leaders will literally make their mark on MIND, being projected and celebrated in-and-on the real-world site. Plus….. from time to time, you never know what your game-points might be 'unlock' - in the real-world….
