About the Game

PixelRulers is a 2D real-time grand strategy game with pixel graphics and multiplayer short and long matches for up to 96 players. It's easy to learn, focuses on clear mechanics, and built around strategic decisions, diplomacy, and battles.

You start with a small country on a shared map, choose a form of government and ideology to simplify development in the areas you prefer, such as increasing income from mines or taxes. With this money, you can mobilize troops, build buildings, and unlock research that opens up new possibilities.

The world is full of other players - some will be your allies, others your enemies. You can form alliances, wage wars, support your neighbors, or backstab them when it benefits you. There is no fixed way to play.

If your country is captured, the game does not end. You can rise up and fight to get your land back.

PixelRulers doesn't overwhelm you with complex systems. You don't need to manage resources in detail or keep track of dozens of stats. The game gives you enough tools to build, fight, and plan - without unnecessary distractions.

The game is developed by only one person, so updates come at a moderate pace. Players are encouraged to share their ideas and help shape future updates on the official Discord server.

Whether you enjoy expanding your territory, managing your troops, forming alliances, or wreaking havoc behind enemy lines, PixelRulers offers a simple yet rich strategy built around real players and real choices.
