Your productivity has not gone unnoticed.
Where others have failed, you have maintained a steady furrow. As recognition, you have been summoned to the palace to receive the Award of Excellent Labour – the Supreme Leader’s highest honour.
The ceremony is simple: a shared cup of water between Supreme Leader and Labourer, presenting them as perfectly aligned in the necessary toils of survival.
However, alignment has a cost. Personal freedoms are surrendered, and demands are ever-increasing. Workers are abruptly reassigned to distant outposts to meet the needs of the whole and rarely return.
The road to the palace is long, requiring you to defend yourself against iron-fisted Overseers and desperate workers who struggle under the weight of their posts.
If one remains productive, they can share the fruits of the harvest. In a dying world, perhaps that is enough. Face-to-face with the Supreme Leader, you must determine if you will accept his honour and return to work, or if your service has come to an end.
