About the Game

Piast - the Eagle Strategy is an upcoming economic RTS born from a unique perspective. Developed by a solo-developer who is an economist, this project merges years of professional economic expertise with a passion for deep strategy gaming, stripping away the simplified safety nets of traditional city-builders.

1 - The Journey Begins: The Early Demo

Please note: Piast is currently in active development. The available demo serves as a rock-solid structural foundation—introducing the core world navigation, basic gathering loops, and worker mechanics. What you see now is just the beginning; the features below represent the final, uncompromising vision of the economic engine you are helping to build.

2 - Logistics as Your Core Weapon (Target Feature)

In the full vision of Piast, resources will never teleport. Every log, iron ore, and loaf of bread must be physically transported through an active simulation grid.

Optimise Supply Networks: Manage workers and dynamic cart routes between gathering points, production facilities, and the central Marketplace.

Master Infrastructure Throughput: Watch out for bottlenecks. A muddy trail or a broken bridge will trigger a domino effect across your entire manufacturing chain, leaving specialised workshops without raw materials.

3 - A Live Dynamic Marketplace (Target Feature)

Step away from static trading screens. The final game will feature an integrated, responsive marketplace driven by pure supply-and-demand mechanics. Overproducing a resource will crash its local value, while sudden shortages will ignite massive internal inflation. Balance your trade surpluses to build up the kingdom's treasury, or risk destabilising your entire micro-economy.

4 - Brutal Crisis Management (Target Feature)

The ultimate test of your infrastructure isn't how it performs during peace, but how it bends under sudden, systemic shocks.

The Price of Greed: Striking a rich vein of gold might seem like a blessing—until the local ruler, Prince Popiel, catches wind of it and demands staggering, unpayable financial contributions.

Macroeconomic Warfare: When crisis strikes, you must choose your strategy: sacrifice domestic supply to force heavy exports, dangerously devalue your coinage to cheat the system, or freeze civilian development entirely to rapidly fund an elite military response to protect your trade routes.

Piast is a passion project built on real economic logic. By adding the game to your Wishlist today, you are supporting a transparent, mechanic-first development journey from raw prototype to a true macroeconomic simulator. Will your infrastructure withstand the chaos of the market?
