About the Game

Petrichor is a short, atmospheric escape-room puzzle game about memory, fate, and a moment everything changes.

Justin Girard is a hobbyist hiker spending the day on the trails with his friends when an accident brings his life to a sudden standstill. As rain begins to fall, you awaken somewhere between the forest floor and something stranger... a shroud of scattered memories, buried truths, and puzzles waiting to be unraveled.

Rest among the leaves. Search through the fragments. Solve escape-room-style puzzles to push deeper into the unknown, and discover what end awaits beyond the onset of rain.

Originally created for a 2021 game jam, Petrichor is a spin-off of 6six6’s other works, using its fateful day to explore mystery, atmosphere, and the strange spaces between life, memory, and myth. Multiple endings await depending on what you uncover within the shroud.

Reverie Edition enhances the original experience with new visuals, improved presentation, additional lore, and a smoother player experience.
