About the Game

Build it, blow it up, and build it again

Perihelion lets you run your own rocket engine shop from the ground up. Take over an abandoned desert airfield and design realistic, unique engines. Test them (until you fly too close to the sun) while racing companies to land contracts from in-game aerospace companies. Or, you could just export it straight into your favorite space game and see it fly for yourself.

Make your company whatever you want it to be

Build ridiculous multi-meganewton heavy-lift engines, or weedy engines made just for small-satellite launchers. There’s no definitive answer, only what works. Size your own chambers, define your own nozzle cooling methods, pick a propellant combination, assemble turbopumps, optimize for a specific altitude, and more.

Compete to be the best

Coming next year as a part of the 1.0 release, be the best in the business and compete for lucrative, varied contracts. You decide what to do to win!

Export your engines to other games

Space games can feel limiting when the engine choices are predetermined, not what you want, and not optimal for the rocket you are looking to build. Perihelion's Engine Export feature, along with a standalone companion mod for each supported game, lets you be as creative as you like while also helping you design engines that are optimal for what you're trying to do.
