About the Game

Pato Martinez is a Shoot’em Up videogame set during the Spanish Civil War, thought as a learning tool and to make the history more entertaining.
We propose a trip though the most important air battles of the war: El paso del estrecho, la ofensiva de Madrid, la batalla del Jarama, etc.

Educational material
When you begin each game, the player can watch a cinematic about the evolution of the war, the men that fought and the planes they controlled.

Inside the game you can access information about all the forces that fought, planes description, the list of all the aces that fought, etc.

All the educational material was reviewed by aviation history experts so that it has historical accuracy.

Game
After the cinematics you’ll be able to flight with planes like Polikarpov I-16 “Mosca” or the Fiat CR-32 “Chirri”. All the planes that appear on the games are real representations of aircrafts that fought during the war.

The backgrounds of each game reflect the environmental conditions on those fights and the other vehicles that fought there like the T-26 or the CV-33.

Special features
We’ve added a special emphasis on both the music and the graphic style so that the can represent the atmosphere of the war, using music, typos and graphic designs used at that time.
