Paleolith is a hardcore first-person survival simulator set in the unforgiving wilderness of humanity's dawn. With nothing but your wits and primal survival skills, you must endure a world where nature is harsh but fair.

Paleolith’s Core Survival Features

Character’s Needs and Senses

Hunger might be the least of your concerns when you’re battling the freezing cold, struggling with illness and insomnia, or nursing broken bones after an unfortunate fall. Survival is about more than just food—you must maintain your body’s health and keep your senses sharp. Stay vigilant, as danger can be seen, heard, and even smelled before it strikes.

Complex Crafting

Gathering resources is just the beginning. Every action matters—one reckless mistake while crafting a shelter or sharpening a spear can set you back significantly. And that’s not even mentioning the delicate art of fire-making, a skill crucial for warmth, cooking, and protection. Every tool, every structure, every fire you make is a hard-earned triumph against the wild.

Wildlife

If you run around carelessly, don’t expect to see much wildlife—animals will avoid you long before you notice them. Stealth is key to successful hunting; staying out of sight is not enough. You must also mask your noise and scent, set traps, and carefully plan your approach. Fail, and you go hungry.

Four Seasons

Your journey begins in summer, giving you time to prepare before nature truly tests you. Winter is the ultimate challenge—freezing temperatures, dwindling resources, and relentless cold will push your survival skills to the limit. Seasons aren’t just a visual change; they impact the world—plants wither, animals migrate, and rivers freeze over, leaving you to adapt or perish.

Unpredictable Threats

If hunger doesn’t get you, something else will. Wild animals, poisonous plants, infections, and untreated injuries can be just as deadly as the cold. Poor preparation can lead to disease, and even walking through the woods without proper clothing can leave you wounded. Every step you take must be carefully considered.

These are just a few aspects of Paleolith’s unforgiving world. Do you have what it takes to survive?
