Earth is dying. As the planet’s magnetic field collapses and the atmosphere slowly escapes into space, humanity faces extinction. In a final attempt to preserve civilization, three powerful corporations unite to create the P.R.I.M.A.L. fleet — Preservation of Reason, Intellect, Memory And Life — massive colonial ships sent to distant corners of the galaxy in search of humanity’s future.
Contact with the fleet was lost shortly after the jump.
P.R.I.M.A.L. Keepers takes place aboard one of these ships, stranded in a harsh and unknown star system after a catastrophic navigation failure. One hundred years later, the colony still survives aboard the damaged mother ship, desperately fighting to maintain what remains of human civilization.
Players take on the role of Keepers — operatives sent to the surfaces of barren alien worlds to recover resources, technology, and anything necessary to keep the P.R.I.M.A.L. vessel alive. Working under the control of dominant factions, players must cooperate, explore hostile environments, and survive dangerous expeditions where every mission could determine the fate of humanity.
