Out Of Memories

A surreal nightmare by green phosphor and text graphics. But the outdated hardware isn't the only thing that's decaying: devoid of any memories, all you know is a toxin is destroying your body little by little - and it's only one of the things out to kill you. Get ready to die like it's 1981.

What can you do when you wake up in a strange place with your memories wiped out and your hours numbered?

And when you realize this place is a lethal environment, with an impossible geometry created by the processing power of a first-generation PC, which gets even weirder when the floppy drives begin to fail?

What about those people that seem amused by the fact you're dying by the minute?

And what's with that creature with a taste for human flesh?

Does any of this make any sense? Does that even matter when your time is running out?

  • Authentic phosphor green gets mixed with not-quite-authentic blood red for results never dreamed of by the monitors of 1981;

  • Several ways to make your life even shorter if you're not careful, including electrocution, beheading, getting crushed between walls or eaten by a shark or a gruesome smiling monster;
