About the Game

Operation Zero is top-down run-n-gun arcade shooter with a sci-fi comedy edge. A mysterious and threatening artificial intelligence is spreading across New America, and only one hero has the brawn, firepower and ignorance to stop it: TASKILLER, the ultimate bio-engineered super-soldier!

You'll need the help of the GENERAL and some state-of-the-art firepower to blast your way through hordes of AI-deranged droids and drones to reach the nerve center of 8 secret bases, each more dangerous than the last.

Featuring:

  • Top-down run-n-gun action... fans of the late 80's and 90's arcade classics will feel right at home

  • Twin-Stick controls by default, but configurable to suit other styles

  • 8 missions to take on, containing 5-7 levels each, spanning forests, secret bases and underground AI nerve centers

  • Arena Mode: a non-narrative "infinite" way to play - see how long you can survive against a never ending barrage of enemies

  • Randomly generated levels for extra replayability

  • Plentiful and stackable weapon powerups to form interesting and deadly combinations. Including but not limited to rapid, bounce, spread, split, explosive...

  • Personal drone powerups to augment your firepower

  • Narrative moments peppered into each level to propel Taskiller's story forward.  All is not as it seems in New America....
