About the Game

THE STORY:

Decades after the Great War on Earth, a new world was built on Mars. It was mostly a time of peace, although a cold war was brewing between the Republic of Mars in the Northern Hemisphere, and the Mars Commonwealth in the Southern Hemisphere. Settlers, known as the Mons Gens, had built several colonies around the equator of Mars, forming their own nation-states which had no allegiance to The Republic nor The Commonwealth. Within the past few decades, the largest Mons Gens colony known as Arsia Mons, was abandoned. The Colony’s massive domed cities, built by Atlas Dynamics, would lie uninhabited in the crater for years.

When the Mars Commonwealth spaceport at Pickering was nearly completely destroyed by an old, obsolete Atlas Dynamics construction drone carrying an explosive device, many assumed the Republic of Mars were responsible. But then, long range telemetry picked up dozens of signatures, similar to those of the Atlas Dynamics construction drone, deep below the supposedly abandoned colony at Arsia Mons.

As a Mars Commonwealth Special Forces soldier, your task is to insert into the abandoned Arsia Mons colony, and investigate deep below the surface to find the origin of the signatures and their relation to the bombing of Pickering Spaceport. Bring back any intel you find.
