About the Game

THE ISLAND HAS OPENED A FILE ON YOU.

ONE (1) WORLD is a single-player, top-down pixel sandbox RPG about turning a hostile audited island into a home. Gather what the island gives, craft what it does not, and make a place worth returning to while the Bureau keeps finding new forms with your name on them.

BUILD A LIFE THAT PUSHES BACK

Mine, chop, fish, farm, ranch, and craft through a world built around short, readable loops. Place rooms, roofs, storage, workstations, furniture, paint, and the practical details that turn a shelter into a working homestead. Seasons and calendar events—including Filing Night, Harvest Moon, and Tax Day—change the rhythm of your plans.

THE MAP DOES NOT END AT THE SHORE

Sail a living sea for salvage, traders, weather, and dangerous routes. Build out a network of travel by boat, car, train, and glider, then push beyond the island by rocket. The Moon, orbit, and other worlds have their own materials, hazards, and unfinished business.

FIGHT THE FILING SYSTEM

Explore distinct regions, caves, ruins, Bureau spaces, and authored boss encounters. Combat uses readable tells, dodges, light and charged attacks, tools, relics, and a growing set of skills. Enemies are defeated in non-graphic pixel-art combat with no blood or gore.

MAKE THE ISLAND YOURS

Shape your resident, pursue more than 60 skills, befriend creatures, help islanders, and carry your choices through six story acts toward a reactive ending. Play with keyboard and mouse or controller, with remappable inputs, controller prompt presets, text scaling, color-vision modes, dialogue-speed controls, screen-shake adjustment, and Reduce Motion.

The Bureau considers this an orderly development. The island has declined to comment.
