About the Game

Most of us are one bad accident from being out on the streets, and well, today is that day. After losing everything—your job, your apartment, your car—you find yourself kicked out of the hospital with no money, low health, and an insatiable hunger. This is a real problem, because in this world the government has declared it legal to hunt homeless people. With trigger happy cops, mindless zombie civilians, and dangerous elites, your only goal in this world is survival.

"On The Grid" is an action game with Roguelike and Survival elements that places you in the center of an urban jungle. You must scavenge for resources, avoid the zombie citizens and security guards, and find somewhere safe to call home.

SURVIVE IN CHAOS CITY

Explore procedurally generated indoor and outdoor environments, break objects for building materials, and gather food and supplies. Every action has consequences, be careful when choosing your battles as they lead to escalating challenges.

STEALTH OR SHOOT YOUR WAY TO SUCCESS

Manage your notoriety with stealth tactics or go all in on combat. Utilize the game's physics-based interactions to throw objects, bash enemies, and outsmart security forces. Remember, everyone has a weakness, and I don’t just mean headshots!

BUILD YOUR COZY GETAWAY

Find a secluded spot out of the city to build and fortify your base. Decorate your home with furniture, building options, and more! Grow your own farm, build a garage for your stolen vehicles, and set up turrets to defend from unwanted visitors.

SECURE YOUR KEY TO FREEDOM

Building your homestead is not enough to keep society at bay. To stop the police from invading your home and finally beat the game, you must navigate back into the city, through randomized buildings and challenges, to find the elusive key to the city in City Hall.
