«Object N» is a experimental hardcore retro game that tries to achieve aesthetics of old shooters such using modern open source Quake engine fork. In addition to graphical improvements (bump mapping, per-pixel lighting), the new engine adds new mechanics for movement, excessive gore effects, COOP mode and more.
The setting moves us to the Cold War. Step into the boots of a special Soviet engineer, dispatched to the clandestine government facility known only as «Object N». As you arrive, a mysterious disaster has struck, leaving the once-secret underground science center in chaos, now under military occupation. Uncover secret areas, solve puzzles, and confront unknown threats as you ascend from the depths to the surface.
