About the Game

Oathwood Realms is an atmospheric strategy card game focused on meaningful decisions rather than reflexes or execution speed. From the outset, the game has been shaped with player-versus-player gameplay as its long-term goal. Competitive PvP is planned to become the core of the full game.

Each match is driven by intent and tension. Players summon and interact with figures tied to the suits Heart, Spade, and Club. Cards interact in subtle ways, resources are limited, and many decisions unfold over several turns. Chance plays a role, but it never acts alone. Progress comes from reading the situation, weighing risks, and committing to choices without full certainty.

The game keeps explanations intentionally light. Instead of long tutorials, a small number of optional hints appear during play. Mechanics are meant to be understood through experimentation and observation.
