About the Game

No Rest for the Witches is a short, no-movement beat 'em up where you fight off hordes of enemies to survive the night.

Cress is a witch, and that's a big problem. She's being hunted by the Unholy Inquisition, and her nights have become an endless streak of assaults by the creatures of the night. Fight through fast-paced beat'em up sections and then relax while getting to know Cress's coven (and polycule) over a few text messages!

You have just four buttons at your disposal: left, right, down and up. Attack, dodge and unleash your magical power against the hordes of Inquisitors over 7 short nights - but be careful: mashing buttons will lead to your defeat! Dodge and counterattack carefully to get through the night unscathed.

This is a project made in a couple months by two people to try out Godot and, honestly, because making games is too much fun. We're releasing it for free for anyone who might want to try it <3
