NianNian's Nightmare

After dozing off in biology class, an ordinary high schooler named Guo Xiaonian (NianNian) unexpectedly transmigrates to an ancient, otherworldly realm. This world has been utterly devastated by bizarre spores carried by alien meteorites. These meteorites struck multiple regions, infecting the local flora and fauna. The spores trigger rapid, chaotic genetic mutations, turning creatures into mindless walking corpses driven only by the urge to kill. Worse still, any creature slain by these monsters is rapidly parasitized by the spores, triggering a chain reaction of mutations. Through this terrifying cycle, the spore’s influence has spread exponentially, asserting absolute dominance over the world.

Armed only with modern academic knowledge, NianNian must navigate this brutal, ruined otherworld. His goal: survive, track down every alien meteorite across the regions, destroy them, restore the shattered world, and find a way back to reality.

In this game, you must gather resources and develop an industrial base to craft powerful modern equipment and gadgets. Alternatively, you can immerse yourself in this world’s martial arts, mastering cold weapons to enhance your personal combat prowess and looting stronger gear from formidable foes. But above all else in the early game—just survive.

Combat:
Choose from a diverse arsenal of weapons, including single-handed swords, dual blades, greatswords, bows, spears, and gauntlets—each offering a unique combat style and moveset. By investing in talent trees, you can upgrade your weapons and unlock distinct, devastating combat combos.

Building:
Construct simple shelters and houses to create a safe haven, and build defensive structures to ward off the lurking horrors of the outside world.

Technology:
Leverage NianNian’s modern knowledge to build advanced production facilities. Construct looms, forging stations, generators, and machining tools. These facilities allow you to process raw materials and eventually manufacture high-end modern warfare equipment, ranging from rocket launchers and assault rifles to towering war mechas.

Farming:
Collect seeds from your explorations and cultivate them to secure essential ingredients for cooking. Grow wheat for flour, or plant garlic for that extra flavorful spice to boost your survival.

Taming:
Befriend and tame neutral creatures to serve as mounts for faster travel, pack animals for carrying loot, or combat companions. You can also build ranches to keep them safe, providing a steady stream of passive resources like sheep milk and eggs.
