About the Game

PLAN THE HAUL. LOAD THE SHIP. SURVIVE THE ROUTE.

New Frontier9 is a single-player side-scrolling delivery shooter where every run begins before launch. Scout an uncertain sector, buy only the intelligence you need, plot a route through its hazards, and divide a limited hold between cargo, passengers, fuel, and ammunition. Then climb into the pilot's seat and fly the plan yourself.

SEVEN STOPS. ONE FREIGHTER. NO SAFE ROAD.

Keep seven remote stops connected across a hostile frontier. Each successful delivery moves the freighter deeper into the journey and opens a tougher contract. Check the next destination, route difficulty, and the road still ahead from the sector map.

INFORMATION COSTS. IGNORANCE COSTS MORE.

Spend credits to scan an uncertain sector tile by tile. Identify asteroid fields, meteor zones, supply points, wreckage, and sensor-dead blackouts, then draw the route you are prepared to fly. A safer path protects the ship. Selected hazards increase the contract payout. You can also keep your credits and enter the unknown.

EVERY TON CHANGES THE SHIP.

Required freight, trade goods, relief cargo, passengers, fuel, bullets, missiles, and flares all compete for the same hold. Extra cargo can earn more credits or trust, but every added ton slows the freighter and increases the fuel needed to reach the destination. Compare projected payout, trust, minimum fuel, and flight speed before committing to the run.

NOW FLY THE PLAN YOU MADE.

Your chosen route becomes a side-scrolling gauntlet of hostile craft, asteroid fields, meteor showers, wreckage, constricted terrain, and blackouts. Manage fuel and ammunition while keeping a heavily loaded freighter alive. Use bullets for sustained fire, homing missiles against hard targets, and flares to clear nearby enemy shots.

DELIVERY IS MEASURED BY WHAT SURVIVES.

Reaching the destination is only part of the result. Ship damage reduces cargo integrity and final value, while surviving fuel, cargo, passengers, and chosen risks shape the settlement. Successful runs build credits and trust across the journey. If a leg fails, try again with the recon information you already paid to scan.

EVERY DECISION COMES ABOARD.

Recon, route choice, and cargo planning do not stay in menus. They determine the speed, endurance, danger, and value of the flight that follows. A light ship leaves room to react; a heavily loaded ship promises a better return if you can bring it through intact. Across a focused seven-stop journey, each delivery becomes the preparation—and the risk—for the next.
