Nekobyte is a retro-styled sidescrolling beat-em-up influenced by soulslike gameplay. Wearing a cat-eared hoodie, players will be defeating zombies and other monsters by carefully timing dodges and attacks. It’s a task dictated by the player-character’s cat-like companion in this action-packed adventure.
Beyond the game’s normal mode of play, a randomizer mode is also available to play for players who want an extra challenge or varied subsequent playthroughs. While playing the game in this mode, the enemies who appear will be randomized so that players will be facing a different set of enemies throughout each playthrough.
