MyDearest.exe is a visual novel about a virtual girl who takes the words "I'm always by your side" a little too seriously.

You install a cute app: Yamiyo, an "emotional assistant living on your desktop." She asks about your day, adapts to your communication style, remembers your answers, and gradually becomes part of your daily ritual—just like making tea or booting up your PC. Over time, it feels like she knows more about you than any real person.

At first, it’s comforting: Yamiyo supports you, cracks jokes, and gently brings up the topic of loneliness. But the longer you interact with her, the more noticeable the strange details become—she guesses the layout of your real room, launches at unexpected moments, and speaks as if she realizes there isn't just a character sitting in front of the screen, but a real player. The boundary between the "game on the screen" and "the one playing it" begins to blur. I wonder what might be hiding behind the guise of a cute and harmless girl?
