About the Game

On an island in the stars, long before time existed, there lived four gods. The crow god, the bear god, the coconut god, and the whale god. These gods were very powerful, and created many things. As to whom created whom, the island or the gods, they did not know, for it had been so, so, very long ago.

The crow god, who was the eldest, sat in deep thought by a lake. He crafted wonderful stories of distant lands, for he was a mighty thinker. He stayed and thought by the lake for so long that eventually he became mortal. But since nothing had changed, he did not notice.

The bear god roamed throughout the woods, but the light of the moon annoyed him, so he trapped it within silver lamps so he could roam the darkness.

The coconut god, who was the youngest, had many children, and they sat in the trees, dropping onto anyone passing by, for they found this to be great fun.

The whale god roamed the waters around the island, looking for her child, whom she lost long ago.

These gods existed as such, for eternity, until one day, a shadow fell upon the island...

My Gods Hate Me is a story-based puzzle game using immersive simulation mechanics to deliver a contextually based challenge. The game is presented in first person as you pick up, place, and throw objects to interact with the environment. Puzzles consist of logic based world manipulation, platforming, and light combat.

Explore the island, learn it's history, and interface with the Gods. Take the knowledge you learn and complete the islands mythology as you navigate your way through this cryptic environment. You must meet the gods and face your destiny.
