About the Game

Musicasa is a retro-styled music sandbox with a secret.

You've just moved into a new apartment. The desk is empty, the drawer is full, and the letters have already started arriving. A trucker needs a song to keep him awake on night rides. A couple is asking for a lullaby for their sick daughter. Someone else won't say what they need at all, but they're paying, and your contract says you must deliver.

Turn your desk into a living studio. Unbox synths, drum machines, samplers, and quirky sound toys inspired by real gear. Arrange them on your desk however you like, patch them together with cables, tweak filters and knobs, and shape each track by hand. There are no wrong notes, just experiments waiting to happen, and clients waiting to hear them.

Answer only in music. You never meet the people who write to you. You can't reply to their letters. Every song is recorded to tape, sealed in an envelope, and sent through your employer, the mysterious company that hired your services. What you send shapes your relationship with each client… and what arrives in your drawer next.

Fulfill the contract. Then ask what happens after. New commissions bring new instruments and new sounds to master. But the letters repeat themselves in strange ways, the requests circle back like a chorus, and somewhere out there, a man who speaks only in riddles seems to know why. Every song you send is heard, you are just not always sure by whom.
