About the Game

Product Description:

"Music Memories" is a first-person narrative game that invites you to experience a story of grief and family tension from the perspective of a father struggling with the loss of his wife. This demo offers approximately 15 minutes of gameplay, where you will solve simple puzzles to progress through the story. It includes several cutscenes that explore the complicated relationship between the father and his son.

This version is a standalone demo and does not contain additional content or expansions.

Demo Features:

  • Duration: Approximately 15 minutes.

  • Gameplay: A linear first-person adventure experience with simple exploration and puzzle-solving mechanics.

  • Setting: Explore a house as you search for key objects that provide context about the events that have affected this family.

  • Story: Despite its short duration, the demo offers a linear narrative, making it a complete experience with a clear beginning and end.

  • Difficulty: The difficulty curve generally remains low throughout most of the game, but towards the end, it tends to increase (depending on the player), requiring a bit more concentration from the players.

WARNING

This game deals with themes of child abuse, psychological, and emotional violence, which may be disturbing to some players. While it does not include graphic scenes of physical violence, the narrative and its background can be impactful due to the focus on emotional pain and family tensions. Additionally, substance abuse is present in the storyline.

Important Notice Regarding Possible Bugs

Thank you for playing Music Memories. We want to remind you that this game was developed as a short-term project, and while we’ve put a lot of effort into delivering the best experience possible, Music Memories is still in its early development stage. This means you may encounter some bugs or errors during your playthrough.

We are committed to improving the game and appreciate your understanding and patience. If you come across any issues, we would be grateful if you could report them so we can work on a solution in future updates.

Thank you for your support and for being part of this experience.

What is the future of this project?

"Music Memories" began as a Final Degree Project (TFG) with the aim of raising awareness about child abuse and how music can evoke memories. Currently, the project is conceived as a demo, but if it receives enough support, the full development of the game could be considered.

I hope you enjoy this experience. This is my first video game, and I am very proud to have brought it to life, although I am aware there are areas for improvement. Please feel free to share your comments, I would be happy to hear them.

Warm regards. <3
