*MUGI*, released in May 2026 as an MSX2-exclusive cartridge, is now on Steam. An action-puzzle game with mystery-solving elements. The PC version adds arranged BGM, a ranking system with name entry, a tutorial, and a stage editor for creating and sharing custom stages.

MUGI, originally released in May 2026 as an MSX2-exclusive cartridge, is now on Steam!

Meet MUGI, born in a weapons factory.

An experimental “ego” was installed… and he realized:

“I don’t want to stay in a place like this!”

Avoid the pesky robots!

Set the batteries into the battery boxes!

Escape to the next room through the opened door!

Can you solve the mystery every 5 stages!?

Action & Puzzle!

Recommended for chiptune fans!

The PC version includes the following additional features:

  • Gorgeous arranged BGM selectable alongside the original MSX2 soundtrack

  • Ranking system (with name entry)

  • Tutorial

  • Stage editor (created stages can be saved as files and shared with friends)

    *We plan to save edited data to the server and share it with people all over the world in a future version update.

  • The instruction manual is included in the same folder as the executable file.

  • Native support for Windows and Linux

  • Linux version tested under Steam Runtime

  • Steam Deck compatibility currently untested
