About the Game

Motelia is a first-person psychological horror game set in an isolated 1960s roadside motel. You are the new caretaker. You came here to work, earn money, and start a new life. But this place is not normal, and your new job will test your mind.
THE DAILY ROUTINE Motelia is a management simulator where you are completely alone. You must do your daily tasks to keep the motel running:

  • Keep it Clean: Use your janitor cart. Push it down to the room, pick up the trash, mop the floors, and change the dirty bed sheets.

  • Fix Problems: Repair broken fuse box so the business stays open.

WEIRD CUSTOMERS A motel needs guests. Stand at the reception and give them their room keys. However, the people visiting this isolated road are not ordinary. You will deal with weird customers. Some act strangely, some say disturbing things, and they will make you feel unsafe in your own workplace.

LOSING YOUR MIND There is no safe time in Motelia; the horror never stops. The game features a constant Sanity System. As you do your simple jobs, you must fight to keep your sanity:

  • You hear footsteps in empty rooms.

  • You clean a red stain on the carpet... is it wine, or is it blood? If your sanity drops too low, you will see terrifying hallucinations. Can you finish your work without going completely mad?
