About the Game

Welcome to Motel Styx!

In this narrative fiction exploration game, alternate between three playable guests, each with the ability to influence the life of the charismatic yet guarded manager, Charon, and alter the fate of the once popular and beloved Motel Styx. Uncover the motel’s (and its manager's) past and secrets through puzzle-solving mechanics specific to each guest, while traversing their interwoven narratives. As you play each character, you'll encounter key decision points that will alter not only Charon's life but the future of the rundown motel.

Three playable characters and their tools:

  • The Lost Traveler - lockpick
  • The Intrepid Tourist - camera
  • The Ghost Hunter - audio recorder
