Background

Moolii’s Dreamland is a 2D hand-drawn horizontal flying Bullet-hell indie game that restores classic arcade gameplay. Players will play as the little fox Moolii. One night, Moolii was forced to bed by her mom. While she was in sleep, she experienced physical oppression and alarm from the family pets, and the mischief of friends and relatives, thus entering a world of strange dreams. In her nightmare, Moolii got powerful skills, allowing her to destroy all the monsters!


Whimsical Designs for Stages and Monsters
Some of the animals, scenes and characters in the game are all inspired by people and things around the developer. For example, there are five ferrets, a dog and two sugar gliders raised by the developer, who will accompany you in the game in a strange but cute way. In addition, the design for each stage is not only purely about horizontal flying, but also has some brainstorming ideas and designs, waiting for you to explore!

Feel The Coolness of Classic Arcade Shooting Gameplay!

The game was developed by a solo developer, inspired by the FC console from our childhood classic: Salamander and other classics. The gameplay of Moolii’s Dreamland is more about flying bullet-hell game in a horizontal version. Once you go forward, there is no turning back. It requires our players’ bravery. So don’t be afraid, use the combo trick of ammos and melee attacks, fight a way out for Moolii!

Diverse Bosses and Monsters

In Moolii’s nightmare, players will face different types of monsters and bosses in different areas, each with their own unique appearances and ways of attacks. From the owl who will pour down hot water to the mad cow who will go on a rampage, these monsters all come with skills ranging from sudden advances to a variety of wind-blade ammo attacks, testing your reflexes to cope with a variety of difficult levels.

The game features a lively and cute 2D hand-drawn style, telling the story of Little Fox Moolii took place both in the real world and the dream world. It showcases Little Moolii's wonderful imagination and the lively and loving Fox family.

Whimsical Design of Scenes in Moolii’s Dreamland

The Cat Forest, where all canines are unwelcome (including Little Moolii), the Dry Pond occupied by bully of the family "King Duck", and the Rushing Plains where is filled with goats and cows... As Moolii travels to these strange places, you'll battle the monsters and bosses. Also, watch out for flying obstacles and moving maps!

Multiple Ammo Types and Skills

The game has a variety of ammo types and skills for players to choose from. Players can upgrade their skills and attributes to successfully defeat the oncoming monsters through a combination of melee claw strikes, long-range ammo and skill releases. You can also use your anger to enter a "Super State", which allows you to quickly kill a large number of enemies with a snap of your fingers!
