About the Game

Monster King is a short, casual retro-inspired JRPG.  Capture monsters and have them fight by your side in turn-based combat!  Explore dungeons and the overworld, find loot in an adventure inspired by the classic 8-bit fantasy RPGs of the NES era.

Originally created many years ago as a collaboration between friends and family, this game has been preserved and released to Steam for enjoyers of nostalgic JRPGs and indie games.
