About the Game

Overview

"Monotonous Days Are..." is a walking simulator horror game in which you explore a looping space.

You control a man who has entered this space and must search for anomalies and information that appear in the room.

Please find the anomalies and information and accomplish the man's certain purpose.

Story

A mysterious space with looping doors and room.

The man created this space of his own volition.

What on earth does he want to do in this space?

Control the man and lead him to "where he should be" and "what he should be".

Two Modes

"Monotonous Days Are..." can be played in two modes.

[Find Means]

Loop through one room and one door, looking for any anomalies that appear in the room.

If you find any anomalies, make sure to report them.

If you don't find any anomalies, just open the door without reporting anything.

Repeat the above process for a week.

- Reporting an anomaly

When you click on an object with the pointer in the center of the screen, it will be highlighted in yellow.

If you continue to click and hold in this state, the object will be highlighted in red and will be reported as an anomaly.

- Type of anomaly

You can select the type of anomaly that will appear before starting.

* Everyday

Both "Change" and "Thrill" anomalies appear.

* Change

This type of anomaly is relatively hard to find, but it is not dangerous.

* Thrill

This type of anomaly is easy to find, but it can be life-threatening.

- Penalty

You can choose from the following penalties for overlooking an anomaly, making a mistake, or the man's death.

* The date goes back to the first day.

* The date doesn't advance.

- Endings

There are four endings:

* Endings on the first and second playthroughs when you select "Change"

* Endings on the first and second playthroughs when you select "Thrill"

* You can see all endings by playing "Everyday" four times.

[Find Purpose]

Loop through one room and three doors, find the man's purpose.

The three doors are arranged from left to right: "Change", "Everyday" and "Thrill".

If you meet conditions such as the number of times you open the door, you can see the ending.

- Three Doors

The left door: "Change"

Something is different from the previous room. You are free to report the change or not.

If you report it, the change will disappear. If you don't report it, the change will remain.

The middle door: "Everyday"

I will spend the day as usual.

The right door: "Thrill"

An exciting “Thrill” awaits you. How you deal with it is up to you.

- Endings

There are four basic endings, but there are also some endings that are not specified in the achievements.

*When you reach an ending, you will get hints on how to reach other endings.

*Recommend that you play through "Find Means" first.

【???】

You can play this once you reach certain endings.

However, please note that the following recorded data will be deleted once you finish "???".

-Anomalies reported in "Find Means"

-Endings reached in each mode
