About the Game

Welcome to Monkeys and Typewriters – a unique simulation game where you are the storyteller! Unleash your creativity and embark on a whimsical journey with Typo the Monkey, as you craft your very own stories in a delightful rogue-relax style. Here, you’re not just a player – you’re the mastermind behind the narrative.

Create Your Own Stories

Let’s say you want to create a story about:

A)    Becoming a demon overlord ruling over his minions, keep the other overlords off your back and making sure your demon children don’t destroy your temple of darkness

B)    Manager of a harem full of foxy ladies (or men!) that are crazy about you but also cannot stand each other, your daily KPI making sure that nobody burns down the joint while keeping an eye on your competitors.

C)    Become the head of the godfather-like family of 1960s US, going around town making offers that nobody can refuse and deal with those that have the audacity to do so with horse heads and tommy guns

D)    A sole survivor of the zombie apocalypse who finds a mysterious remote control that lets you control the zombies, a glimpse in your eye as the path is opened towards being the king of the undead of a ruined earth

What do all of these have in common? That you can generate them with Monkeys and Typewriters, in fact there’s nothing you cannot generate! (ok almost nothing don’t go too crazy)

Whatever story idea you can think of, Monkeys and Typewriters gives you the freedom to create and explore it. Forget about rigid templates, you prompt your story as detailed as you want and the game will help you make it come alive.

Illustration Mode – Bring Your Story to Life!

Take your creations to the next level with Illustration Mode! Every chapter of your story will be paired with a unique, hand-drawn illustration, bringing your narrative to life in vivid detail. Watch as your words leap off the screen, with dynamic and vibrant artwork that perfectly complements the twists, turns, and surprises of your story. This feature ensures that your stories are not just read, but experienced.

Share and Enjoy

Once you’ve crafted your masterpiece, share it with others! While creating is the main focus, you can still immerse yourself in the creative stories of fellow players, exchanging tales and experiences in a community that celebrates creativity. Whether you’re sharing your work with friends or exploring stories from others, the fun doesn’t stop once your story is finished.
