About the Game

Missile Man is a bullet-hell boss rush where every fight is a test of pure skill. Learn the boss's attack pattern, dodge everything it throws at you, then strike during the vulnerability window. 28 bosses. 15 attack types. A combo system that rewards you for getting dangerously close to bullets. Good luck.

28 Boss Fights, Zero Filler

Every boss brings something new to the table. Early fights teach you the basics with normal bullets and spiral patterns. By mid-game you're dealing with homing missiles, bouncing rounds, and beam attacks that cut the arena in half. Late-game bosses throw nukes, grenades, and wave bullets at you simultaneously.

  • Mini Bosses — Smaller fights that test your fundamentals

  • Mega Bosses — Bigger, meaner, and way more bullets

  • The Final Boss — Everything at once

Master the Art of the Dodge

Bosses cycle between assault phases and vulnerability windows — your job is to survive long enough to land the hit. Sounds simple, right?

Bullets spiral. They bounce off walls. They lock onto you, arc like grenades, and explode into shrapnel. Beams sweep across the screen with barely any warning. Shockwaves blast you into incoming fire. All you've got is movement and nerves.

Get close to bullets without dying and you'll trigger Grazes, Close Calls, and Perfect Dodges — each one stacking your combo multiplier. Chain enough dodges and the game starts calling you out:

  • 3 Chain — "NICE!"

  • 10 Chain — "AMAZING!"

  • 35 Chain — "LEGENDARY!"

  • 50 Chain — "GODLIKE!"

  • 100 Chain — "IMPOSSIBLE!"

Perfect Dodges even give you invincibility frames. The game rewards you for close death experiences dying.

Build Your Arsenal

You earn money by grazing bullets and beating bosses. Spend it in the shop on items and upgrades that carry between runs.

Discover Active Items:

  • Shield — Orbiting barriers that eat bullets for you

  • Time Slow — Slows everything to 15% speed

  • Dash — Short invincible blink through danger

  • Impulse — Shoves every nearby bullet away

  • Bombs — Clears the screen

  • Frost Beam — Freezes bullets solid

  • Stun — Locks the boss in place

  • Chromatic Purge — Deletes all bullets of a random type

  • Lucky Charm — Drops a pile of money

Unlock Passive Items

  • Speed Boost — Move faster

  • Bullet Slow — Enemy bullets move slower

  • Lucky Dodge — Chance to phase right through a hit

  • Small Bullets — Shrinks enemy bullets up to 48%

  • Quick Charge — Shorter cooldowns on your active item

  • Fortune & Glory — 30% more money and score

  • Flares — Decoys that pull homing bullets away from you

  • Targeting — Auto-aim toward the boss during vulnerability

  • Critical Strike — Small chance to skip a hit phase entirely

  • Extra Missiles — Extra lives

Risk Contracts

If a boss fight feels too easy, slap a Risk Contract on it before you start. You get more money, but the fight gets way harder:

  • Bullet Storm — Twice as many bullets (2.0x payout)

  • Speed Demon — Bullets move 50% faster (1.75x payout)

  • Powerless — Your active item is disabled (1.5x payout)

  • Can't Stop — Stop moving and you die (2.5x payout)

Stack a contract on a late-game boss in Master Mode if you really hate yourself.

Four Difficulty Modes

  • Easy — Bosses attack 40% slower. Great for learning patterns without getting destroyed.

  • Hard — Full speed, full difficulty. Progress saves between sessions.

  • Master — Roguelike rules. You lose your level when you die. No safety net.

  • ???? — Beat master mode to discover this and others.

Also Worth Mentioning

  • 28 achievements — speed runs, no-upgrade challenges, combo goals, and more

  • Rebindable keys

  • Multiple save slots with mid-run resume

  • Per-level stats that track your dodges, combos, closest calls, and risk percentage

  • Parallax backgrounds, particle effects, screen shake, and 100+ sound effects

  • Spatial audio so you can hear bullets coming from the side

One More Run

Every death teaches you something. Every graze pushes the combo higher. Every boss has a pattern waiting to be figured out. If you want a game where skill is the only thing that matters — no grinding, no RNG builds, no shortcuts — this is it.
