Misdecayed is an adventure RPG about life, death, rebirth, and robots.
Misdecayed features turn-based combat and top-down exploration reminiscent of 90's era JRPG classics. Explore the colorful world of Forgebirth Island, and slowly you'll notice that things are starting to unravel beneath the surface...
As you explore the island, you'll encounter a wide array of critters and creatures, both friendly and hostile, cute and frightening. Eternia says that fighting in this world is to be expected, but then, why do they feel so... odd...?
Molly Alkaline died at age 23. Crushed in an earthquake that decimated her hometown.
...and now, she finds herself face to face with Eternia, the seventh Soul Conductor of the Afterlife. And Molly is given a choice; to pass on in peace... or get a second chance. To be reborn as an "Acclimator"; a robotic shell housing her soul, to return to the world from which she came, and live a longer life.
And so, Molly returns. Arriving on the Forgebirth Island, her residence of choice, she meets another Acclimator, Ashie, who (despite their grumbling) has been assigned to help Molly complete her Acclimator duties.
