About the Game

Decide who belongs to whom

A fire destroyed all birth records. You are appointed to assign newborns to parents using observable traits and medical data. Compare eye color, blood type, skin tone and other indicators, account for unreliable genetics, and make your decision. Correct matches earn wages. Mistakes bring fines and unwanted attention. The more precise you are, the longer you last.

Talk carefully

Before work and after each shift, you interact with colleagues, inspectors, and neighbors whose intentions are not always clear. Through branching dialogues you build trust, create enemies, form alliances, or quietly distance yourself from trouble. Some test your loyalty to the regime, others ask for risky favors. The way you speak shapes your relationships and determines who supports you, who uses you, and who reports you.

The system is watching

Newspapers present the official version of events, and information rarely tells the whole story. At work and at home, small details hint that something is off. You can follow instructions, question them, or pay closer attention when contradictions appear. The state demands order, but beneath the surface different factions compete for influence, and your position between them becomes harder to ignore.

Will you rise within the Ministry, assist the resistance, keep your head down and survive, or search for a way out?

Live inside the machine

Your accuracy determines your income, and your income determines how safely you live. You must cover basic expenses while avoiding suspicions of bribery and corruption. Conversations affect opportunities, mistakes affect finances, and political choices affect long-term outcomes. Each in-game day takes only minutes to play, but your decisions carry forward and shape the ending you reach.
