About the Game

The future of Minesweeper games we were promised. Minesweeper 2007 is a mine flagging puzzle game with a nostalgic 2000’s Frutiger Aero aesthetic featuring dozens of unique handmade puzzles and game modes. Pretend it’s still 2007 and relax for a while!

The peak of Minesweeper’s popularity had largely ended by the time the Frutiger Aero design aesthetic became prevalent in the late 2000’s. What used to be one of the best time killers when you didn’t have an internet connection or were waiting ages for a download to finish became less appealing. Connection speeds increased and the world wide web brought new curiosities and things to do online. Minesweeper was still there, but it never departed much from what we came to expect.

The heart of Frutiger Aero is rooted in twin desires to reminisce on the past, and look forward to a better future. Optimism was the name of the game, and everything felt clean and welcoming. The internet was a bit more fun and casual, a place where you could get away for a while. It's fun to imagine what could have existed if Minesweeper joined with this aesthetic just a little bit more before both faded out of the public zeitgeist. Here’s to a fun and more hopeful future! I hope you enjoy my game!

Break away from the grid with Minesweeper 2007’s unique puzzles. Each level in Puzzle Mode is hand designed for a thoughtful and logic based experience. No guessing is required here!

Did you spend hours at work playing PC games while your boss wasn’t watching? Why not spend a few more in classic mode? The mine flagging experience you remember and love with custom settings to get that difficulty just right!

Dive into a gauntlet of boards and see how many you can clear. It starts out easy and gets difficult the further you go as each board gets bigger and the mines multiply!
