Explore the ruins of a dead world as Aria, a forsaken nun seeking absolution for her sins.
METAMORPHOSIS is set in a future where humanity has manufactured its own rapture.
The surface of the Earth has long since collapsed due to war and decay, leaving nothing but silence below.
The story begins as Aria descends into the depths; driven by guilt, by faith, and by something she cannot escape. The harsh, decaying world is full of atrocities and violence, and amidst the ruins and brutal encounters - could the answer to salvation really still be here?
Face off against a variety of foes, decrepit automatons, and pitiful mockeries of “rebirth” in deliberate, high-risk combat. Solve challenging puzzles, manage dwindling resources, and fight the remnants of an endless war.
Explore large, interconnected areas filled with vertical spaces, hidden paths, and shortcuts. Wield firearms and powerful miracles to survive what lurks within.
Interact with divine systems left behind. Confess yours sins but be careful who may be listening.
Speak with demons born both natural, and man-made. The follies you entertain, and the answers you take to heart may affect more than you think.
Find meaning in a broken world.

You held your hands in prayer
Hiding inside your own faith.
You wished for only one thing:
To never see her again.
