About the Game

A psychological horror game where you work at a dystopian company that serves mermaids as seafood dishes. There are multiple endings based on your choices. Gamble your blood, serve mermaids as seafood dishes, investigate conspiracies, and make difficult choices. Are mermaids more like fish, people, or monsters?

  • Gameplay: Visual novel and management game

  • Content: Dark psychological horror, twists/drama, and yuri (in some story routes)

Miya wakes up after her new job's onboarding surgery. She had agreed to lose certain memories that would've affected her work performance. This company is known for its up-or-out system, but Miya desperately needs her job to survive. She starts working at an ocean conservation organisation that catches invasive sea creatures-- mermaids.

There's something scarier than mermaids being seafood as Miya starts to uncover the company's conspiracies. A reporter asks her to whistleblow, coworkers drag her into power struggles, and infighting mermaids make contact. There's also a rumour that a mermaid with the power to take on a human form has infiltrated the company.

There are many characters, each with their own story and motivations. Who will you trust? There are multiple endings focusing on different characters and possible romance based on your choices, exploring the dynamic between mermaids and hunters. The story is full of twists and turns.

Management gameplay: Make dishes and chat with customers for hints on what flavours they like. Buy and resell ingredients with fluctuating prices. Manage your resources, bet your Blood, buy intel, and more. There will be a walkthrough guide in-game and you can bypass challenging parts if you want.

Some choices will affect the story and ending. The story is delivered in visual novel style with artwork and dialogue. Instead of plain sprites, there are 100+ CGs and comic-style panels to make the screen look dynamic.

CHARACTERS

Play as Miya, the new hire with a dark secret. You work in a dystopian corporation that hunts mermaids and serves them as seafood. Yes, people eat them, and they pay a lot for good seafood! It's not like mermaids are totally angelic victims, either. These sea creatures would eat us if they could. And you can't afford to lose your job.

Lena, the current No.1 Mermaid Hunter, is your nemesis. People say she's ruthless and arrogant, but she's taken an interest in you and helps you multiple times... maybe because she already suspects something. Your co-workers are eyeing the same mermaids as you are. Will you sabotage or collude with them?

Clementine, heiress to a major shareholder of CDTA. She's working the same job as you, just for fun, and she's definitely just an ordinary person (according to herself).

There are even more characters to meet in the full game! Oh, and there's a rumour that some mermaids can disguise themselves as humans. Investigate the suspected mermaids and win the bounty on the mermaid's head... or plant false evidence and cannibalise a human that has wronged the Corporation.
