About the Game

Merge to evolve. Place to conquer.

Merge Parade is a formation-based auto-battler set on a 5×5 grid. Buy monsters, merge them into stronger evolutions, and arrange them in a winning layout using powerful adjacency passives. Combat plays out automatically — your only job is deciding who stands where. One smart placement can turn the tide.

Core Gameplay Loop

  • Buy monsters from the shop
  • Place them on your 5×5 grid
  • Merge neighboring units to evolve them
  • Watch the auto-battle play out
  • Spend the gold you earn to field an even stronger army next fight
Battles end fast — about a minute at normal speed, just 20 seconds at top speed. Perfect for a quick session, easy to lose hours in.

From a Tiny Slime to a Mighty Dragon

Goblins, slimes, plants, undead, demons, elementals, dragons, constructs, beasts — nine cute monster tribes with dozens of monsters to collect. Follow recipes to merge them and watch small units evolve into towering powerhouses. Chain a few humble slimes all the way up to a colossal dragon lord and feel your army truly grow.

Formation Is Everything

Every unit has passives that depend on where you place it: boost the attack of adjacent allies, shine alone in a corner, weaken nearby enemies, and many more. As the fight unfolds, columns build up stacks of burn, freeze, and shield — push a stack high enough and it erupts in a powerful burst that can flip the whole battle.
Stacking strong units isn't enough. Who stands next to whom, and which column they hold, decides the fight.

One Run, Fifteen Battles

A roguelite run is fifteen battles, with a boss waiting at 5, 10, and 15. Lose a battle and you spend a life to take on that same battle again; run out of lives and the run ends. Clear all fifteen to conquer the run.
Even a defeat teaches you something — new units, new recipes, new matchups. Every run sharpens your strategy. Once you've mastered the basics, six escalating difficulties stand between you and the true ending.

Grow Stronger Between Runs

You earn score every run — win or lose — and spend it on permanent upgrades: more starting gold, extra lives, a bigger bench, and stronger attack and HP. Every session leaves your army a little mightier than the last.

A Small Goblin with Big Dreams

Meet Gobsby, a small-town goblin with grand ambitions, and Nick, a chatty little mimic-book who narrates the journey. With only a handful of monster friends at his side, Gobsby sets out for the distant Demon Lord's castle. Recruit allies, crush rivals, and watch your tiny gang swell into a marching army — a long, eccentric parade across the world.
